CSURF Technology Transfer Office
The Colorado State University Research Foundation Technology Transfer Office has the responsibility to protect and manage the intellectual property resulting from research at Colorado State University.
MicroRx is the enterprise arm of the Infectious Disease Supercluster. It is charged with developing transformative research collaborations, and efficiently moving discoveries to market through creative technology licensing and formation of startup companies. Its overarching goal is to rapidly translate research discoveries into products that alleviate the human and economic burdens caused by infectious diseases.
The overarching goal of NeoTREX, the enterprise arm of the Cancer Supercluster, is to rapidly translate research discoveries into products that aid in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Our mission is to deliver solutions in clean energy through more effective partnering with the clean energy industry, governments, investors, and the public to rapidly develop product opportunities emerging from Colorado State University's world-class clean energy research.
Research Collaborations, Partnerships and Joint Ventures
Research at CSU continues to grow, covering a vast array of areas from cancer and infectious disease, the range of topics within the currently super hot area of clean energy, to natural resources, atmospheric sciences, health and exercise, computer sciences, and food science and nutrition. In the effort to expand University capabilities and further the mission of service to the State of Colorado, CSU seeks to encourage collaborations with local industry, national industry, other educational institutions, foundations or any business aiming to strengthen their research and ours through partnership. In collaborating with industry, especially, CSU aims to provide real world experience for students of all levels, create a more valuable workforce by graduating experienced students ready and able to contribute immediately, and create jobs by licensing technologies and commercializing our research. CSU offers world-class researchers leading motivated students in fully equipped laboratories. With the addition of the Research Innovation Center, opening April 2010, CSU also offers state of the art incubator facilities, including wet lab space, to local companies or companies looking to establish a presence in Northern Colorado.
